       Oliver Imig, Coach

 

Born in Essen/Germany Oliver Imig had his first performance as orchestral conductor and soloist and the piano when he was 20 with the Bochum Philharmonic.


After studying at the Folkwang University Essen, Germany and the ‘Giuseppe Verdi’ Conservatory in Milan, Italy, he was accepted into the young artist program of the Milan opera house ‘La Scala’ (Accademia del Teatro alla Scala di Milano). Amongst others he has been awarded an ‘Ambassadorial Scholarship’ of the International Rotary Foundation. In the following years he was ensemble member of the Hannover State Opera and the Cologne Opera. Furthermore he worked at the opera houses Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich as conductor, pianist and musical Assistant.
