Massimilian Bullo, Coach
Massimiliano Bullo started piano lessons at the age of five under the guidance of Maestro Carlo Vidusso. In 1984 he concluded his studies and received his diploma at the Conservatory of Music “Giuseppe Verdi” in Milan where he studied with Maestro Ernesto Esposito.
Four years prior to graduating he won a scholarship to be part of the music staff at La Scala, where since 1983 he is engaged as assistant conductor and coach in close collaboration with the former music director Riccardo Muti, and with other prestigious guest conductors.
He played the recitative continuo on the fortepiano for the production of IL TURCO IN ITALIA under the musical direction of Maestro Riccardo Chailly, with Cecilia Bartoli and Michele Pertusi, later recorded by DECCA.
Bullo is a frequent guest vocal coach for productions in theaters worldwide, including the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, the Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile, the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, China, and in France with the Opéra Limoges, Opéra de Lille and Opéra de Reims.
He has collaborated frequently with the La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra both in Italy and abroad. Much sought after as recital accompanist, he has performed with Salvtore Licitra, Mirella Devia, Maria Guleghina in prestigious venues throughout Europe, United States and Asia. He has served on the faculty with the Daniel Ferro Vocal Program in Greve in Chianti, Italy, and given masterclasses in Ukraine for the IMG Artists Master Class Series, as well as in Shenyang and Beijing, China.
